Visiting a new church can be daunting. Here are a few details about our life at Trinity that we hope will help you relax on your first visit. Curious about something else? This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Trinity is located at 12727 Hillcrest Rd in North Dallas, TX. We are one long block south of Interstate 635 on the west side of Hillcrest. Click for a map and directions.
Please dress comfortably. Business casual is fine, but so are blue jeans. Trinity's dress code has more to do with putting on Christ than putting on fancy clothes.
Regardless of which service you attend, our time together will be reverent but relaxed. It will center on God's word. We will respond in prayer and praise, confession and thanksgiving. Our music blends the best of traditional hymnody with the best of contemporary hymnody. We integrate many musical styles and instruments. We will also confess our sins -- and our faith! We usually have a 3-minute greeting in the middle of the service, and an extended time of fellowship with refreshments afterwards. You won't be publicly singled out or embarrassed. Look under Worship for more service details.
Trinity is an evangelical church. That means we believe in the centrality and inerrancy of God's word, and the importance of beginning and nurturing a personal relationship with Christ. We are affiliated with the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas. Some in the Episcopal Church have embraced all kinds of un-Biblical practices and beliefs. Not us. We stand shoulder to shoulder with everyone, of every denomination, who knows and loves Jesus Christ; aims to be his witnesses in the world; and submits humbly to his word. Trinity Hillcrest is a family church. We welcome youth and children to all our parish activities, and we specifically include children in both our primary morning and evening services. Our junior and senior high school students learn about faith in Christ and making good decisions that will bring blessing to them and their families.
Trinity offers a beautiful setting for weddings, and we are happy to share it with new friends from the community. We do ask you to attend church during your engagement. For more info, call our weddings coordinator, Leslie Lovell, at 972.991.3601.
It is our privilege to welcome new friends into the Christian family through baptism. We see baptism as a picture of God’s grace in action, so we enthusiastically baptize both adult believers and the children of Christian parents.
